  這是小飛機在七美機場跑道上蓄勢待發的畫面，從照片中泛黃的草地可以知道這張照片是大野郎在冬天拍的
• 介紹：
  • 七美在1979年興建了一座小型機場，初期是永興航空飛行望安－七美的航線，後來航權先後移交到台灣、華信等航空公司，現在則是德安航空負責飛行七美航線。七美機場初期是鋪設瀝青跑道，沒幾年就毀損，1995年才改鋪設PC跑道。
  • 飛機是除了南滬港的快艇外，七美人次要的對外交通運輸工具，有趣的是每日飛行高雄的航班比飛行馬公的航班多，不用懷疑，其實七美人對高雄的依賴度竟然是大於對馬公的依賴度。舉凡看病、遷居、物資補給、魚貨交易等等，七美人習慣往高雄跑，反而不是往馬公跑。一來七美距離馬公跟高雄的距離相差無幾，二來高雄的生活機能遠比馬公進步，也難怪七美人大部分出外都是往高雄。

  • 目前七美有德安航空每日飛行四個班次的高雄七美航班，兩個班次的馬公七美航班，各位可以參考德安航空的飛行時刻表，在飛機起飛前5分鐘或抵達七美前5分鐘前來七美機場欣賞小飛機的起降，非常刺激，每次起降都彷彿要滑落海裡，因為七美機場的跑道實在太短。

  七美機場候機室，七美機場的使用率算是滿高的，常常客滿，而且飛高雄的班次比飛馬公的班次熱門，充分顯示七美與高雄某種緊密的依存關係
  • 站長在永興航空負責飛行七美航線的那幾年，搭過幾次8人座的小飛機往返七美洽公。8人座的小飛機是沒有空調的，機艙地板上會擺個電風扇運轉當作空調，機長駕駛艙就在你的面前，飛行的高地非常低，可能不到1000英呎，途經望安、虎井島、桶盤嶼時，島上建築甚至人影都清晰可辨。有次天氣實在太熱，大概機長也熱到難以忍受，就順勢打開駕駛區的窗戶，把手伸出去引導氣流灌入機內充當電風扇，站長第一次看到搭飛機還可以開窗戶伸手出去，當場傻眼，也算是難得的經驗。
