　　很多遊客不都不知道澎湖警察的妙處，澎湖警察約900人，澎湖實際居住人口約7萬人，等於一個警察只需照顧80個澎湖人，加上澎湖治安好，沒什麼案件可以處理，套句我當警察的友人說的：在澎湖當警察一抓不戴安全帽、二抓聚賭、三處理家庭糾紛！澎湖腹地又小，警察一個巡邏時段恐怕可以繞他的巡邏區十來趟，因此澎湖的警察真的是名符其實可以當遊客的”保母”，他們也很樂意在夏天的時候跟遊客打交道，所以在澎湖旅遊警察至少可以幫助你們下面這些事情：

1. 迷路的時候問路，有時還會直接開道帶路！哈！
2. 到警察局借廁所外加要水喝。
3. 問電話，有些旅遊業者或餐廳或是特色景點的人家，他們並沒有在查號台登記電話號碼，也沒有公開電話，這時候你只要打電話到那個管區的派出所，跟他們說你是遊客想要做什麼，請他們給你電話，就搞定了。站長去望安要包漁船每次都是打到望安警分局去問船老大的電話。
4. 騎車騎到沒油，這時候其實去打電話給鄰近的警局支援，往往會比打回去給租車行有用，警察伯伯會提著油桶來炸你，喔！是幫你補給油料啦！這種事情我幹過。
5. 開罰單，雖然澎湖的警察伯伯對遊客服務很周到，但是譬如騎機車不戴安全帽啦，闖紅燈啦，超速啦，澎湖警察可是開單開得凶！哪個服務不收費呢！哈哈！搞不好他們還會一面開單子給你，一面問你有沒有旅遊上需要協助的地方。澎湖警察最愛開觀光客的單子了！

附註：

1. 以上第1至第4點為可能性極高的服務，但是不是每個警察都真的願意提供這些服務。
