• 交通：
  • 馬公出發沿203縣道約35分鐘車程，從橫礁村外的路口左轉（目前立有指示牌）即可進入西嶼濱海公路
• 介紹：
  • 西嶼濱海公路在站長的心目中評價甚高，以澎湖的海岸風光來比較，僅次於七美東岸的濱海公路，兩年前在PTT澎湖板就不斷鼓吹走西嶼濱海公路。站長約在15年前第一次走西嶼濱海公路，原因是逛西嶼時迷路啦！於是就在西嶼東岸的小徑上穿梭尋路，意外地發現這條風景秀麗的濱海公路。當時濱海公路並非全線貫通，許多路段是難行的產業泥道，不像現在都鋪設柏油路面外加涼亭、木棧道等設施。
  • 西嶼濱海公路的美可以歸納出幾點：
  • 地質景觀：
    • 竹灣到二崁路段、大菓葉路段、赤馬路段有豐富發達的柱狀玄武岩與海蝕平台。
  • 沙灘潔淨：
    • 濱海公路從合界一直到赤馬段佈滿了大小不一的沙灘，站長統計過至少有六片沙灘羅布在這段海域，由於該海域沙灘並非遊客活動區域，所以不但潔淨，沙灘上更有許多美艷的貝殼跟小石子。來此處戲水時，記得別帶走貝殼及沙子，讓美麗繼續留在原地吧！
  • 公路迂迴：
    • 濱海公路並非直線道路，公路蜿蜒曲折，竹灣到二崁路段更有段陡坡，一面為玄武岩大石高聳矗立，另一面陡峭懸崖得一覽遠方海上船隻及箱網，頗有蘇花公路的海岸風情。
  • 構圖豐富：
    • 濱海公路位於西嶼島東方，遠眺就是馬公，因此濱海公路眺望海上風光不是單調的一片蔚藍，有馬公的島影在不遠處襯托。
  • 景點多：
    • 西嶼濱海公路從橫礁村切入至外垵村切出，沿途已經開發的觀光景點至少包括：竹灣大義宮、竹灣螃蟹博物館、竹灣造船廠、二崁社區、二崁草原、大菓葉柱狀玄武岩、赤馬五孔頂、牛心山、東台古堡等。
  • 站友北環時不管是往或返，最佳的選擇是其中一趟走西嶼濱海公路，體驗西嶼的美。
• 建議玩法：
  • 西嶼濱海公路因為面向東方海域，西邊有小丘與社區為背，適合下午前來，下午的光線對於濱海公路是順光，又有小山丘跟社區阻擋部分烈陽，不但是水面被照得金亮美麗，騎(開)車時也比較涼爽不曬。
  • 西嶼濱海公路許多路段是產業道路，入夜後並沒有路燈照明，對於路況不熟的站友，不建議夜晚的時候走西嶼濱海公路，所以盡量安排北環去程的時候進入濱海公路路段。
  • 站長習慣的路線是進入西嶼後直奔小門鯨魚洞，然後選擇折回橫礁或從竹灣社區進入濱海公路，從內垵出濱海公路後參觀最後的西台古堡、內垵遊憩區、西嶼燈塔看夕陽，之後直走203縣道回到馬公。
